Jacques Bermon Webster, II (born April 30, 1991), also known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper. Scott is also a songwriter, singer record producer, singer, and songwriter. His stage name is the combined name of a favorite uncle who has the first name and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his idol, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major-label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, as well as an agreement for publishing with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April of 2013, Scott signed joint recording agreements with Epic and T.I. His Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first long-form album, Owl Pharaoh, was self released in 2013. In 2013, Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. Another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) Rodeo (2015), his debut album on the studio was the first album to feature the smash single "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number one album on the Billboard 200. Scott released Birds in the Trap: Sing McCKnight (2016) with Quavo, under the collective name Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. It was the first album to feature his Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Following the debut of his hit single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to release three singles at number 1 in less that one year in 2020.
